| Home | Trip Policy and Refunds The trips are organised by Manchester International Society Travel or MIST Ltd. MIST Ltd is a seperate company from but is wholly owned by the International Society. Trip Policy All our coaches are non-smoking. Members are welcome to bring their children on visits. All children over three years of age need a seat. Children are not allowed on coach visits unless accompanied by an adult. All coach tours (unless otherwise stated) start and finish at Dover Street, just next to International Society a pick-up point is arranged at Salford University 30 minutes prior to the departure time given on the following pages. Please note that leaders on coaches are staff or student committee members who do this voluntarily and are not therefore professional tourist guides. Day Trip Cancellation and Refunds Please bring your ticket to the office at least one week in advance of the trip taking place if you know that you are unable to go. Please note that ticket money cannot be refunded for trips unless the ticket is resold after we have sold our own tickets. A cancellation charge of £1.00 per ticket is made. Refunds must be collected within 14 days of the trip taking place. Please note that ULC students who are taking the free trips paid for by their course cannot change trips once they are booked. Overnight Trip Cancellation and Refunds Please note that cancellations cannot be accepted unless more than two weeks notice is given. A refund can only be given if we are able to resell your place on the trip. A cancellation charge of £5.00 per booking is made. THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE DETAILS OF THE TRIPS PROGRAMME SHOULD ANY NECESSITY ARISE. THE SOCIETY AND STAFF CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS OR INJURY HOWEVER SUSTAINED BY PARTICIPANTS ON EVENTS. THE SOCIETY CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WEATHER CONDITIONS ON ANY OF OUR TRIPS. PLEASE CHECK THE WEATHER FORECAST BEFORE YOU GO AND TAKE APPROPRIATE CLOTHING. |
