| Destination: Delamere Forest |
Description: A shady oasis in the midst of the agricultural landscape of the Cheshire Plain. Delamere Forest is Cheshire's largest area of woodland and is a place for people to let off steam, escape the crowds and find peace in the heart of the forest.
Over 950 hectares of mixed deciduous and evergreen forest, open grassland and wetlands. Delamere is also a haven for wildlife including the beautiful small tortoiseshell butterfly and greater spotted woodpecker. |
