Free Stuff Giveaway 2009 On Sunday 27th September 2009 we held our annual Free Stuff Giveaway. Anything and everything that had been donated by the previous year's students had been laid out on tables for the new students to collect and make use of. You can see the crazy free for all that followed to your right.
It took around two or three hours to set everything up on the day and about half an hour for everything to go! Well... almost everything. There were a few choice items that somehow got looked over as you can see in the video :o]
We will be running the same event in September 2010.
We'll keep you posted so you can try and be first in the queue!

Which Animal Would You Be And Why?
Please note that your mind/consciousness
would be fully transferred into the animal
so this may influence your choice.
Please offer a full explanation so that I can add your comments to the list. Click here for the full Animal question page.
International Society Superpowers
So which superpower would you choose? And why? Personally I would go for Teleportation so I could visit everywhere I've always wanted to and spend every lunchtime on a beach in Jamaica. Click here for the full Int Soc Superpowers page. Join the debate and email me your choice of power [and reasoning] on stephen.ashworth@manchester.ac.uk. I'm compiling a definitive list of the top ten most popular superpowers.
Check out the list of superpowers on wikipedia for some ideas. It's endless! Although of course you are free to create your own superpowers. I'll publish the most original responses on the website.
