Dunragit Excavation Diary
Day 11: Tuesday 15th August
The morning has started out fine, it would have been a good day for digging - but its our day off and everybody has gone to Glasgow for the day - so here's a little filler.

The Kitchen

Since Julia keeps on at me that I never take a photograph of her cooking - I thought I'd better put in a few shots of the Kitchen.
The Kitchen helpers (or helpless in some cases -but not these two they were a shining example of what Kitchen helpers should be).
These are some of the thousand odd sandwiches which Julia has had the kitchen helpers prepare and which she hopes will be prepared correctly, the bread buttered on the right side, cut in half, not cut to look like a handaxe and the right fillings put in - not everybody likes tuna and raspberry jam sandwiches
celery are very useful thing to have around the kitchen -it makes a very satisfying crunch when cut and you can just fantasies its the neck of someone who's annoyed you
Julia starts preparation for the evenings meal - "must get more celery"
The evening meal
I find it hard to believe but here are some people who are actually camera shy -

However not everybody had left for Glasgow one person was caught red-handed trying to remove all the photos of herself from the web site - sending an e-mail a likely story !

hopefully tomorrow we will have more to report about the site and I have been promised several contributions of a slightly more serious nature on the site and its features.
